Emily Shussler is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who joined UT Health San Antonio in September 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA in 2010 before going on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing- AGACNP from Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX in 2023. Ms. Shussler is the recipient of the Nursing Excellence Award (2019), Preceptor Excellence Award (2020), and was listed among the Top 100 Registered Nurses in South Texas (2021).
