Steven Schenker, M.D.
Professor Emeritus
Dr. Steven Schenker was one of the founding members of the Gastroenterology Division at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He earned his Medical Degree from Cornell University School of Medicine in New York, NY, before he started at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He practiced Medicine for 46 years before he retired and became an Emeritus Professor at the UT Health San Antonio in 2009.
