Martha P. Schatz, MD

Neuro Ophthalmology & Pediatric Ophthalmology
Dr Schatz is a board-certfied ophthalmologist fellowship trained in pediatric ophthalmology and Neuro-ophthalmology. Her special expertise lies in the areas of adult strabismus and pediatric neuro-ophthalmic disease. Dr Schatz cares for patients with all types of pediatric and Neuro ophthalmic problems to include strabismus, amblyopia, optic neuritis, optic neuropathies, ocular manifestations of genetic syndromes pediatric and adult idiopathic intracranial hypertension, and vascular disease of the visual system.
Dr. Schatz is active in teaching residents and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient settings and in surgery of the eye and orbit.
She is a fellow member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and North American NeuroOphthalmology Society and is involved in clinical research with both groups.
