Mei-Ling Lin, Ph.D., OTR

Not currently seeking mentors.Dr. Lin received her Ph.D. in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research interest focuses on social emotional health in the pediatric population, as well as evidence-based prevention, promotion, and intervention programs relevant to school and family mental health. Dr. Lin incorporates both qualitative and quantitative methods in her work and emphasizes the translation of scientific evidence to clinical practice and teaching. She has been a clinician since 2008 and has primarily worked in school settings. Her clinical interest is advocating occupational justice for children and families with disadvantaged backgrounds and children with autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Lin has mentored students in the conduct of community-based research and the learning of the pediatric occupational therapy process.
