George Cobb Jr, D.D.S.

Assistant Professor/Clinical

Dr. Cobb received his dental degree from UT Health San Antonio, School of Dentistry in 1982. He then completed a Prosthodontics residency in and received his Certificate at UT Health San Antonio, School of Dentistry in February, 2000. Dr. Cobb worked as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Mississippi, School of Dentistry, Department of Dentistry from 1992 through 2000, where he was a course instructor for many Preclinical and Clinical Prosthodontics courses. He was course instructor for two Preclinical Prosthodontic courses at the University of Texas Dental Branch, Houston, TX from 2001-2003. He received board certification from the American Board of Prosthodontics in February, 2000. Dr. Cobb worked as a full-time General Dentist private practitioner from 1992-1998 and from 2003-2020 as a part-time private practitioner limited to Prosthodontics in Houston, TX. He also worked as a part-time practitioner limited to Prosthodontics from 1991 to 2003 in Houston, TX and Jackson, Mississippi.
