Jose Bermea, MD

Dr. Jose Bermea is a board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio as an Assistant Professor/Clinical in July 2024 after completing his Hospital Medicine Fellowship at UTHSCSA in June 2024. Dr. Bermea earned his Doctor of Medicine at the Universidad de Monterrey in Monterrey, Neuvo Leon in 2012 before going on to complete his Family Medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Odessa, TX in 2023 (serving as Chief Resident from 2022 to 2023). He is board-certified in Family Medicine with the American Board of Family Medicine.
