Reshma Brahmbhatt, M.D.

A Texas native, Dr. Brahmbhatt joined UT Health San Antonio in 2019 as an Assistant Professor of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Her clinical interests include peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, and venous disease. She is published on a variety of topics, including outcomes of abdominal aortic aneurysm surgeries, peripheral artery bypasses in women and frail patients, and blunt cerebrovascular injury. Her research interests include surgical outcomes relating to frailty and physician wellness and burnout. Dr. Brahmbhatt also provides care for our veterans with an appointment at the Audie L. Murphy VA in San Antonio. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Brahmbhatt is passionate about medical student and resident teaching. She is a mentor to multiple residents and students, and has a specific interest in resident wellness, burnout, and professional development.
